I'm not interested in the perfect face.
I'm interested in the person behind it.
I work with controlled light and a reduced setting. What happens after that depends on the person. Some are loud, some are quiet. Some laugh. Some just look.
I don't try to make it into something else. I want to create portraits in which personality becomes visible – the way I perceive that person in that moment.
